Application
Apply diluted to skin or use in diffuser.
How to use:
ALWAYS dilute it with a carrier oil, like coconut or jojoba, before applying it to the skin to avoid irritation
For Topical Application
- Dilute with a carrier oil: Chamomile oil is highly concentrated. Mix a few drops of chamomile oil with a suitable carrier oil, such as coconut or jojoba oil.
- Perform a Patch Test: Apply the diluted mixture to a small patch of skin, like your inner arm, and wait 24 hours to check for any signs of irritation or allergic reaction.
- Apply to Skin:
- Massages: Mix 5-6 drops of essential oil per 10ml of carrier oil and massage into the skin.
- Moisturizers: Add 1-2 drops to your regular lotion or moisturizer and apply as usual.
- Compresses: Add a few drops to a warm compress and apply it to an affected area, such as an achy back.
- Baths: Add 5-10 drops to a warm bath, optionally mixing with a carrier oil first.
For Aromatherapy (Inhalation)
- Diffusers & Burners: Add 3-6 drops of chamomile oil to a diffuser or the water bowl of a burner.
- Steam Inhalation: Add 4-5 drops to a bowl of steaming water, cover your head with a towel, and inhale the vapors.
- Direct Inhalation: Inhale directly from the bottle or from a cloth or tissue sprinkled with a few drops.
